City Engineering can provide all finishes, including powder coating, anodising and plating to customers' specifications.


In-House Finishing Capabilities

Stainless steel polishing

City Engineering has a polishing facility which restores a good finish (dull or bright polish) to stainless steel which has undergone welding as part of the fabrication process.

Bead blasting

A specialist bead blasting process is offered only for stainless steel components to ensure non-contamination with carbon steels (up to 600mm cube).

City Engineering develops and maintains arrangements with fully vetted specialist subcontractors enabling full assurance on quality and delivery. Among the finishes offered are: Alochrome; Anodising (silver & coloured); Nickel Plating; Silk Screen; Powder Coating (including Syntha-Pulvin); Galvanising; Zinc Spraying and Flame Spraying.
