City Engineering was founded in 1946 by TE Davies (Ted) as a general fabrication shop. The company developed and moved into its existing site in 1956. Ted's son, Robert, joined the company in 1978 and is currently Chairman. The other Directors are Robert's wife, Jacqueline, and Steve Woodbury who started with City in 2005.
The business was divided into a Holdings and a Trading company in 2004. The balance sheet of both companies is strong with no external debt and large cash reserves. The whole of the share capital is ownded by the Davies family and Steve Woodbury.
Clients can be assured that City Engineering is, and will remain, a stable trading partner.

Competence City Engineering is a well equipped, substantial and competent engineering company. Not so obvious, but equally important, is the vast experience at all levels within the business, and also the enthusiasm that everyone here has for engineering, for achieving excellence and for providing customer support from the handling of enquiries through to delivery and beyond.
Fair Treatment City Engineering is a company run honestly and fairly on strict ethical principles. Our aim is to treat our clients well by fulfilling or exceeding contractual obligations and to win their business over the long term.
Promises City Engineering takes seriously any commitments given to clients, e.g., we will not knowingly make a delivery promise we are unable to achieve.
Communication City Engineering has a policy of communication with clients so that if problems of production or delivery do arise, clients are kept fully in the picture.
