Our History
For more than 60 years City Engineering has combined technology and expertise to provide an unrivalled service.
The company was founded in 1946 by TE Davies to carry out light engineering. It is still family owned and currently under the Chairmanship of the founder's son, Dr Robert Davies.
The company originally traded from premises in Ridgeway Road, Fishponds and Park Road, Kingswood. In 1956, a new factory and offices were constructed on Fishponds Trading Estate, where the company has been ever since, though with numerous additions and alterations.
