City Engineering (Bristol) Ltd is a long established family run engineering business specialising in quality sheet metal work and fabrication in stainless steel and aluminium as well as mild steel. The company occupies its own purpose built premises of 35,000 square feet close to the M32 in Bristol and currently employs about 55 people.
The Market
City Engineering offers a complete engineering service from prototype to production batches. Many of its customers are to be found in the semi-conductor, defence and oil and gas sectors. City Engineering attempts to establish and nurture long-term business partnerships with all its clients.
Investment
City Engineering operates a policy of continuous upgrading and renewal of plant and machinery. In the last year, the company has added a new Deburring Centre, a 3 metre set of Bending Rolls, another new Amada Pressbrake and a new Ultrasonic Cleaning installation. In addition, City has constructed a new Manufacturing Cell, manned by 20 skilled engineers, devoted to servicing the requirements of the Semi-Conductor industry.
The Workforce
From Sales and Marketing, through CAD and Planning to Production Management, Supervision, Production workers and Quality Assurance, City Engineering is staffed by skilled and experienced engineers. The company embodies a huge fund of engineering knowledge available for the benefit of clients.
Facilities
All new CNC equipment for sheet metal manufacture including Laser profiling, CNC punching, and CNC forming. Large sheet capability (4 x 2 metres). Full range of ancillary processes including TIG and MIG welding, Rolling, Drilling, Assembly, etc. Beadblasting and ultrasonic cleaning line for stainless steel and clean area for manufacture, packing and storage.

City Engineering is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Company, Certificate No. 38808, including recent accreditation to AS9100 rev C, Aviation Space and Defence Industries.
